Classes over the Easter holidays

The Easter school holidays are coming up, and here’s what that means for classes.

Whenever it’s a school or public holiday, we’ve always tried to keep the classes running when we can. But, we’ve found that during school holidays the junior classes are very poorly attended - sometimes instructors turn up to classes of 5 students, rather than the 20+ students who are usually there. So we’ve made the hard decision that we need to change our approach to classes over the school holidays.

For Easter this means the following temporary changes to timetables:

Helensburgh classes

On the first week of the school holidays we will combine the Helensburgh Monday and Wednesday junior and senior classes to have joint classes at Hermitage Academy at 6pm on Monday 7th & Wednesday 9th April only. Saturday classes are unaffected, and classes will return to normal the following week. Kickboxing classes are on as usual.

Easterhouse classes

In Easterhouse the timetable during the holidays is Tuesday 5-6pm (all levels) and Thursday 5-6pm (all levels), with no classes on Saturdays. There will be no kickboxing during this week.

All classes will return to normal after the holidays, although there will be no classes over the Easter weekend or on the May bank holiday Monday.
